Corporate shoot

Corporate portraits are generally people in suits. However, they don't have to be boring or stagnant! By using your surroundings and different lighting techniques you can make a fairly uninteresting photo into something quite striking and eye catching.

People in business trust a professional photographers opinion, so don't be afraid to move subjects about and do your best to relax them. The more relaxed a person feels the better they will look in a shot. Please take a look at my website for more photos and info www.stevebootle.co.uk

Lighting subjects

Nowadays, you can do so much more with artificial light and portable flashes than you used to be able to. With two or three speedlight flashes http://www.nikon.co.uk/, some stands and pocketwizards http://www.pocketwizard.com/, you can throw flash in from different directions and almost treat an outdoor shoot like a studio one. In a dimly lit environment you can use side lighting with real dramatic effect or backlight to give your subject a halo effect, both of which look fairly unique. Also if you use a high sync speed you can freeze subjects perfectly, which is great for doing sport.
